Teaching Staff

You will be a Registered Early Childhood Educator, demonstrate the ability to work in lightly supervised situations and make responsible, reasonable decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Provide a caring and educational program for young children in a group setting. This involves planning, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate programs that facilitate children”s needs.
  • From time to time you will direct students in meeting their placement criteria.
  • You will ensure your room is always a model of good planning, environmental wellness, safe, clean and organized.
  • You will model professionalism, assist other staff by performing various administrative tasks and work as part of a team.

Among our Policies specifically you will be responsible to our Playground Safety Policy, Behaviour Management Policy, Anaphylactic Shock Policy, Individual Medical and Emergency Policies and Water Flushing Policy which are key Ministry expectations.

A current: Clear Criminal Reference Check, Immunization records (including TB test) and First Aid Certification are required.

We work with the Ministry of Training in supporting our employees who are registered with them in the Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program.
