The Children's Place
is a non-profit childcare organization with a parent/community
board of directors. We offer progressive services
for families requiring childcare. The Child's total
well being has been the most important concern since
the building of our centre and the planning of its
programs. A number of interesting options such as
part time flexible schedule and extended evening
hours have been incorporated into our program to
give the personalized and individualized care that
many parents desire or need.
We are committed to our programs and to responding
to the changing needs of each child.

professionals, proud of the care and education we
give to your children as partners with you, in your
brief absence from them. If there is a child care
service missing in this community, we will work
to fill that gap.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Children need to play. This is "their"
work, it is the way they learn. Children learn from
experimenting, satisfying their curiosity, having
access to books and creative materials and by making
mistakes. In this way they practice and refine their
skills, gain confidence for everyday life and they
learn problem solving and choice and consequence,
this is their life skill training.
Our centres are licensed under the Ministry of Community
and Social Services. We conform to all the regulations
set down by the Day Nurseries Act. Our high standards
are reflected in our staff, environment, programming
and unique and progressive services.
